COVID-19 Updates

These are the 蜜桃传媒在线观看入口 COVID-19 policies, effective for the 2023-2024 academic year: 

COVID-19 Vaccination and Boosters 

  • 蜜桃传媒在线观看入口 no longer requires a COVID-19 vaccination for on campus in-person study, work, and/or activities. 
  • The College strongly encourages all members of the community to be vaccinated and maintain routine boosters as recommended by the CDC. 

Masking 

  • Masking remains optional in all 蜜桃传媒在线观看入口 locations. 
  • In keeping with our commitment to respecting our community values, we expect everyone to support the decisions others may make to wear a mask at any time. 
  • Free masks are available for members of the College community at Access Control or in Student Affairs. 

COVID-19 Exposure 

  • If you are exposed to COVID-19, per the CDC鈥檚 guidance, you should wear a mask for 10 days and get tested on day 5. Quarantining is not required. 

COVID-19 Positive Test 

  • If you test positive for COVID-19, you are still required to email covidcoreteam@limcollege.edu, isolate for at least 5 days, and wear a mask through at least day 10.

THE SPRING 2023 SEMESTER

  • 蜜桃传媒在线观看入口 will continue to require proof of the full COVID-19 vaccination (or an approved medical or religious exemption) for all community members who plan to鈥痵tudy, learn, teach鈥痮r work physically on campus in the Spring 2023 semester. (If you have previously submitted your COVID vaccination proof and it was approved during any prior semester, you do not need to submit it again for Spring 2023.) 
     
  • Policies outlined in the Aug. 31 Key Takeaways and Fall 2022 FAQ below will remain in effect.

 Effective Aug. 31, 2022 

  • Masking is optional in all 蜜桃传媒在线观看入口 locations. However, individual faculty members may require masking for their class meetings and studio sessions.
     
  • Masking in group settings over 25 people is no longer required, but masking is recommended in large group settings.
     
  • If a community member prefers meeting with masks, we ask that you respect their request and wear one.

  • Social distancing is no longer required on campus. However, masking is still required.
  • We will begin to allow food and drink to be served at on-campus programs and events.
  • We are no longer requiring a vaccine booster to register for Fall 2022 in-person classesHowever, we continue to strongly recommend that all members of the 蜜桃传媒在线观看入口 community receive a booster, as advised by the CDC. 
  • In-person instruction for the Spring 2022 semester begins Tues. Feb. 1. 
  • Proof of a negative rapid COVID test is required for all students, faculty, and staff returning to campus. There are 2 options for these tests: 1. Within 24 hours of your return to campus you can get a rapid test at the location of your choice OR 2. You can take a rapid test at the College. Rapid tests will be provided in Maxwell Hall Jan. 31 through Feb. 10, free of charge. Check your LIM email for details on testing requirements and on-site testing details. 
  • Showing your LIM ID card to access control helps keep our community safer. Only students who are approved for campus access will be granted access. 
  • The College strongly recommends that all students, faculty and staff wear KN95 or N95 masks. Masks remain a requirement for all persons inside LIM buildings. Social distancing of 3 feet or more is also required. 
  • All students, faculty, and staff coming to campus must continue to complete the Daily Health Screener via the Everbridge app. 
  • Vaccine Boosters: 蜜桃传媒在线观看入口 is now collecting COVID-19 booster documentation. Check your email for instructions on uploading booster documentation. 
  • If you are sick, please stay home. LIM Students: If you have tested positive for COVID-19, contact covidcoreteam@limcollege.edu and your faculty.
  • All classes will begin as scheduled on Tues. Jan. 18. All in-person classes will begin remotely on Zoom for the first two weeks of the semester. (There is no change to virtual and online classes.) In-person classes will begin meeting on campus on Tues. Feb. 1. The academic calendar for Spring 2022 will remain unchanged. Through the month of January, faculty and staff are working remotely and are available via email, phone, and Zoom.
  • LIM will require proof of a negative rapid COVID test for all students, faculty, and staff returning to campus. There are 2 options for these tests: 1. Within 24 hours of your return to campus you can get a rapid test at the location of your choice OR 2. You can take a rapid test at the College upon your return. Rapid tests will be provided for the first two weeks of Feb., free of charge. Details on testing requirements will be emailed to students, faculty, and staff during the week of Jan. 24.
  • Vaccine Boosters: 蜜桃传媒在线观看入口 supports the CDC recommendation and strongly recommends that everyone who is eligible get a booster shot. A separate communication with instructions on uploading booster documentation will be forthcoming.
  • Spring 2022 New Student Orientation and the Admissions Open House scheduled for January will move to an online format. Incoming students and families and registered guests will be contacted directly with more information.

  • For those who are already fully vaccinated, submit your proof of vaccination via SONIS in order to have it approved prior to the start of Spring 2022 classes. If you already submitted your proof of vaccination for the Fall 2021 semester, you do NOT need to submit it again for Spring 2022.
  • New Students: Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required to register for in-person classes. If you are an undergraduate (in an associate or bachelor's degree program) you will need to submit your proof of vaccination at least 2 business days before you meet with an Academic Advisor to register for classes.

  • Contact the Office of Counseling and Accessibility Services at cas@limcollege.edu if you plan to seek an exemption to the vaccination requirement.
  • Social distancing of 3 feet must be maintained at all times and in all locations on campus. Masks/face coverings must be worn by all students, faculty, and staff regardless of vaccination status. Daily heath screenings must be completed via the Everbridge app prior to entering any campus buildings each day.
