Ron Marshall became President of 蜜桃传媒在线观看入口 in January of 2024, after serving since 2019 on the 蜜桃传媒在线观看入口 Board of Directors and acting as a consultant and senior advisor to the College on strategic, financial, and operational matters.
President Marshall is a seasoned retail executive. Among many executive leadership roles throughout his career, President Marshall led the Nash-Finch Company, a $5 billion food distribution and retailing company, from 1998 to 2006 and served as Chief Executive Officer for Borders Group, Inc. and the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company. Most recently, President Marshall served as Chief Executive Officer of Claire鈥檚 Stores Inc. from 2016 to 2019.
Earlier in his career, President Marshall served in a series of positions of increasing responsibility with Pathmark Stores, Inc., Barnes & Noble Bookstores, Inc., and the Jack Eckerd Corporation. From 1976 to 1980 he was a Certified Public Accountant working for the international accounting and auditing firm PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers).
He has also served as Director and Audit Committee Member on the Board of Directors of Claire鈥檚 Stores, Inc. and Linens & Things, Inc., and as an Executive Committee Member of the Wright State University Foundation.
Dr. Scott Carnz joined 蜜桃传媒在线观看入口 as Provost in August of 2023. As the chief academic officer of the College, he leads LIM鈥檚 Academic Affairs unit and serves as chief advisor to the President on matters related to curriculum, faculty, academic engagement, and pedagogy.
Dr. Carnz came to 蜜桃传媒在线观看入口 from the City University of Seattle, where as Provost he oversaw more than 50 programs, ranging from the certificate level to doctoral degrees. Among his accomplishments during his tenure at the City University of Seattle were creating an Office of Social Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion; establishing a Research Institute to support student and faculty scholarship; fostering a data-informed culture to assess learning outcomes and support student achievement; and increasing student persistence rates in key programs.
Previously, Dr. Carnz was with the Art Institute of Seattle for 22 years, starting as a faculty member and advancing through the ranks to become Dean of Academic Affairs. As Dean, he led 27 undergraduate programs in fields that included audio, video, and game production, as well as culinary arts, and graphic, interior, industrial, and fashion design and marketing. His experience with the school鈥檚 fashion programs included establishing an internship program that partnered with employers such as Nordstrom, Amazon, and Zulily.
Dr. Carnz has served as a Peer Site Evaluator for the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. He holds a B.A. in Visual Communications from The Evergreen State College, an M.A. in Whole Systems Design from Antioch University, and an Ed.D. in Education Leadership from Argosy University.
Dr. Carnz started his career in the design fields and has served as Creative Director for a start-up fashion line that was among the first to implement sustainable practices, including a program aimed at reforestation, with every purchase planting a tree in partnership with AmericanForests.org.
Michael Donohue has decades of progressively responsible experience in higher education administration and is especially skilled at streamlining processes and procedures. Previous positions he has held include Assistant Controller at the American University of Beirut, Budget Analyst for the United States Military Academy at West Point, and Budget Assistant for the Army Athletic Association.
Since his arrival at 蜜桃传媒在线观看入口, Mr. Donohue has played a key role in the institution鈥檚 strategic growth, helping to ensure the College has the optimal faculty, staff and facilities in place to support student success.
Mr. Donohue has extensive knowledge in the areas of accounting, student accounts, financial aid, human resources, information technology, and facilities management and maintains active memberships in several professional organizations including the National Association of College and University Business Officers, the Eastern Association of College and University Business Officers, the Society for College and University Planning, Educause, and APPA.
Danielle Yannotta became 蜜桃传媒在线观看入口鈥檚 first Senior Vice President and Chief Growth Officer in September 2024, after serving for more than two years as the college鈥檚 Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Earlier, she was an adjunct professor teaching undergraduate and graduate level marketing courses at the college for two years.
Before joining LIM, Yannotta served as a marketing and brand strategist for over 15 years, including consulting work for major brands. Among other career leadership positions, she served for six years in executive roles of increasing responsibility at Toys 鈥淩鈥 Us, where she developed partnerships with global brands and entertainment companies and rose to the position of Director, Digital Engagement.
As LIM鈥檚 Chief Growth Officer, she continues to be responsible for Marketing and Communications and also leads Admissions and Enrollment Services, focusing on developing and executing an enterprise-wide growth strategy including enrollment plans, brand vision, partnerships, and integrated branding across advertising, public relations and digital channels, among other functions. Yannotta brings an audience-centric emphasis to her role, focusing on how to meet stakeholder needs with students remaining a priority.
She earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Business Administration/Finance from Marist College in 2008 and an MBA in Marketing Management in 2011 from the St. John鈥檚 University Peter J. Tobin College of Business. Yannotta is a member of the Female Founder Collective.
The President鈥檚 Cabinet is a core group of leaders who serve in an advisory capacity to the President, making informed recommendations regarding the College鈥檚 strategic priorities, resource allocation, infrastructure, and organizational structure. The Cabinet aligns planning and operational processes and policies to fulfill College priorities, support the core values and mission, and fosters continuous improvement.
