Underfashion Club hosts panel discussion for LIM students.

蜜桃传媒在线观看入口 and the hosted a virtual panel discussion on Feb. 21, connecting students with professionals in the intimate apparel industry.

The mission of the Underfashion Club is to ensure the future of the intimate apparel business through education and cultivating and retaining talent. The non-profit organization partners with high schools and colleges to provide financial support for students who are interested in pursuing a career in intimate apparel. Over the past several years, many LIM students have benefitted from Underfashion Club scholarships.

The event was co-moderated by Amie Blumberg, Vice President of External Relations & Alumni Affairs at LIM and Jeanna Sellers 鈥24.

The panelists were:  

  • Karen Bromley: Founder, Bromley Group  
  • Asi Efros: Editor, Lingerie Briefs Magazine 
  • Victoria Vandagriff: Former President, Delta Galil, USA 
  • Jacqueline Wander '10: Account Executive, Wacoal America, Inc.

The panelists discussed how they got started in their careers, why they chose intimates, and how they keep a work-life balance. All the speakers emphasized the importance of following your true passion.  

Bromley talked about how she originally entered the fashion industry through merchandising but found herself wanting to transition to marketing and events.

After she made the switch to marketing, Bromley found out how much happier she truly was, and noted she felt more successful, saying, 鈥淔ollow your instincts and go with where your talent is and where you think you are going to love what you do.鈥

The event concluded with an overview of Underfashion Club scholarships that LIM Fashion Merchandising and Fashion Marketing majors could apply for in the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters. For more information on the scholarship application process, please contact: amie.blumberg@limcollege.edu
