Tony Spring, Chairman and CEO of Macy’s Inc., will speak with a group of students on ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß¹Û¿´Èë¿Ú’s campus as part of the LIM Fashion Education Foundation’s (FEF) ongoing speaker series on April 3 at 6 p.m. ET.
The LIM FEF speaker series brings conversations with some of the biggest names in the business of fashion and lifestyle to ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß¹Û¿´Èë¿Ú students and industry professionals. Previous participants have included retail legend Mickey Drexler and Frances Valentine Co-Founder Elyce Arons.
The LIM FEF is a not-for-profit organization that is separate and distinct from ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß¹Û¿´Èë¿Ú. Its mission is to help students in need who have chosen to attend ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß¹Û¿´Èë¿Ú by raising and administering funds for scholarships and educational enhancements that benefit them. LIM FEF has awarded more than $2 million in scholarships to deserving individuals, many of whom are first-generation college students, enabling them to pursue careers in the business of fashion.
