LIM hired an Academic Director for the Business of Cannabis, Michael Zaytsev, who has used his extensive industry connections as the founder of High NY to hire faculty to develop and teach cannabis courses. These faculty bring a wealth of firsthand knowledge and are professionals and leaders in the cannabis industry. They include lawyers, authors, marketers, cultivators and more.

Now, through a series of cannabis courses students get a unique insider's view of the cannabis industry while preparing for cannabis jobs. Students learn about cultivation, regulatory issues, social justice, marketing and merchandising techniques, and retailing, as well as supply chain - all with a unique focus on the cannabis industry.

And, as with all undergraduate LIM degree programs, internships are required as part of the bachelor's program, giving students the opportunity to get real-world experience while preparing for post-graduation employment.
