About

As Dean of Undergraduate Studies and Chair of the Fashion Merchandising and Marketing Department, Nancy Miller oversees all undergraduate degree programs and advances the College’s mission through collaboration with the Office Career and Internship Services and the fashion industry at large. 

Prior to joining ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß¹Û¿´Èë¿Ú, she enjoyed a career that spanned more than 25 years and included work in textile sales management, apparel merchandising, and product development. Previous positions include Senior Sales Account Manager for the Royal Carolina Corporation and Waverly Textile Processing, Director of Merchandising for Dr. Denton Childrenswear, and Product Manager for Kingly/Bees & Jam, Inc. 

Dean Miler has authored and taught several courses in the Fashion Merchandising and Marketing major and works alongside a team of faculty who are industry experts in the fields of retail, product development, digital and social media marketing, and sustainability. She also oversees ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß¹Û¿´Èë¿Ú’s summer pre-college program. 

She is a member of the Sigma Beta Delta national honor society, the Alpha Beta Kappa honor society, and was the recipient of ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß¹Û¿´Èë¿Ú’s Award for Teaching Excellence in 2009.
