Judgment in Kollam Uthra murder case tomorrow. The verdict of the Kollam District Additional Sessions Court comes one year, 5 months, and 4 days after Uthra's death. It is alleged that Uthra was stabbed to death by her husband Suraj Moorkhan with a snake.

Uthra was found dead by a snake on May 7 last year at Anchal Erattu's house. The indictment of the case was filed and the trial was completed in record time. The post-mortem examination of the snake that had bitten Uthra and the dummy examination using the cobra snake was an antiquated investigation into the case.

Kollam Sixth Additional Sessions Court Judge M. Manoj will pronounce the verdict in the case. During the trial, the prosecution produced 87 witnesses, 289 documents, and 40 affidavits.

Uthra's family responded that they hoped the accused would get the maximum punishment. On three occasions, Suraj tried to kill Uthra by biting him with a snake. Sooraj Moorkhan bought the snake from Suresh, a snake catcher from Kalluvatukkal Chavarukavu. Suresh is an apologetic witness in a case where there are no witnesses.
