20 months after the launch of the premium hatchback, Tata Motors has unveiled the 100,000th Altroz at its Pune plant. Altroz was launched on January 22, 2020, for Rs 5.29 lakh. A few days before the launch, Ultros had passed the Global NCAP crash test with a five-star rating. Altroz, the first vehicle to use ALFA (Agile Light Flexible Advanced) architecture, currently ranks second in the premium hatchback segment with a market share of over 20%.
