The company said the service will be available to customers from September 8.

Last month, Ola introduced the electric scooter in two variants, the S1 and S1 Pro. The scooters, priced at Rs 9,999 and Rs 1,29,999 (ex-showroom) respectively, will go on sale in October. 'We have partnered with all the major banks and financial institutions. Many of them will be available from September 8, 'said Varun Dubey, chief marketing officer, Ola Electric.

Dubey said the whole process will be seamless as customers buy their way online and everyone can take advantage of this option to opt for financing. Customers will also be able to avail themselves of EMI schemes starting from Rs 2,999. He added that delivery will start from October and scooters will be delivered to customers' doorsteps.

The scooter comes in 10 colors with in-house development with an 8.5 KW motor and a 3.97 kWh battery pack. The vehicle will be manufactured at the plant, which is spread over 500 acres in Tamil Nadu.
