The Finance Department of the Ministry of Finance has sanctioned to the States the 6th monthly installment of `9,871 crores for the Post Devolution Revenue Deficit (PDRD) Grant. With the transfer of this installment, a total of `59,226 crores has been received by the States eligible for PDRD grant during the current financial year. An amount of 1657.58 crores has been sanctioned to Kerala.

State-wise details of the grant sanctioned this month and the total amount of Post-Development Revenue Grant sanctioned to the States in 2021-22 are attached.

The Fifteenth Finance Commission has recommended a total PDRD grant of Rs 1,18,452 crore for 17 states in the financial year 2021-22. Of this, Rs 59,226 crore (50%) has been disbursed so far.
